Trade Shows and Expos usually can’t be arranged without proper insurance. That’s because most show venues and organizers will ask you to provide proof of insurance with liability coverage.

A venue may also ask that you include them as an ‘additional insured’ to your policy. What this does for them, is put your insurance policy in front of theirs as the first line of defence in the event of a law suit. Approved contractors that install and dismantle exhibits on the show floor can also be required to provide proof of insurance.
