In general, when it comes to event insurance policies, there are three main products to consider. The first is Public Liability which is your primary coverage. The others are your Event Cancellation and Non-Appearance cover.
Most venues will require you to have Public Liability insurance. This coverage protects you the event organiser, against claims of bodily injury and property damage arising out of your event operations. Even if it’s not a requirement of the venue, you may still be held liable for any claims occurring as a result of your event activities.
